Bobby: 'WE NEED A BANKING DISASTER'????

I don't think you have even begun to think through what I said in my post to Bill - sorry but I believe you accused of shallow thinking! I don't think we need a banking disaster - which would really be throwing out the baby with the bathwater. Have you any idea what that would mean to a lot of ordinary people?? If you'd thought about what I said - it was this - the presentation stressed dire consequences if the lid comes off the gold market and prices soar. A lot of politicians will close ranks if they think this will happen. I'm all for what Bill is doing (you may even have noticed this?). I just think that a lot of thought has to be given to the end game when and if this unravels. There are a lot of agendas out there amongst the various politicians opposed to Clinton, and adversity makes for strange bedfellows. But I hope the IMF sale idea is defeated, not just in Washington - but also through lobbying by South Africa and other producing countries. d
