They make a poor and illogical argument. Trendlines, support level, stochastics etc... will tell you that those statements are quite biased.

I talked to my wife today and I believe for the first time in 5 years I will hold these shares I have now for a long time! I will average down if I get the chance!

One has to understand the mental state of a trader!!

No i am not SHORT, I trade AOL options and do short trades,
todate I have never bought AOL Puts or shorted the stock,
however I wanted to buy puts before earnings, but Maria
scared me off and I went long 300 shares at 155, so in
the hole about $4500 but that is a very small % of
my net AOL profits this year.
