Mainly from fear that the conf call would generate a big surge on
Thursday. I am amazed that amzn mgmt could bungle it so badly. For such masters of
hype to fall so flat means only one thing. They have gotten so arrogant that now their
nonsense is being resented rather than applauded. Lets hope for a decent price to short
into.

Sarmad,

That was the worst conference call I have ever heard. There were questions that were not even close to asking for business secrets that they declined to answer. The most obvious is the cost of acquisition of a new customer. That was not answered as a trade secret. It has always been answered in the past and how would that help the competition?

Sarmad -- with apologies to those who are long this stock, I am ok with missing the chance on Wednesday morning to buy puts because it would have been pretty stressful. On the other hand, I have been making a mint on the metals. Low volatility stocks turning in to rockets -- the most powerful returns from options are had under these circumstances. It has been an amazing week since the IBM report. Copper, gold and silver are catching fire -- looking at the GNP report in the am. I have trouble moving into and out of too many positions in a day -- so I am happy where I am.

Happy trading
