With stock price below 200 there will not be a split. I guess issuing those 1500 million shares was a bit pre-mature.

But there is a bigger problem. If Amazon management is now perceived as just pumping up sales with no plan for profits and no focus, it will dampen the barking of the analysts. AMZN's stock price requires such massive hype by all concerned that if some falter in their support, the rest can't carry it. And we all know what happens to momentum stocks on the way down. They really accelerate.
