And, I have never heard of Csontvary! Amazing! The problem with the dang Internet is that it is like looking at a bad photo of a fax. I will do everything possible to try and see his work in real life

I had never heard of him either - that is until I went to Pecs last spring, and visited the museum dedicated to his art. Pecs has been inhabited at least since Roman times, and there must be at least 30 small museums there dedicated to specific topics. ultra.jpte.hu A couple of them are really top notch.

In addition to the Csontvary museum, there is also a museum for of Zsolnay porcelain factory. Here's the URL to the museum: zsolnay-pecs.hu and a commercial site that has some great photos of Zsolnay ceramic art...

I imagine that that Iron Curtain thingie is the main reason that you never heard of Csonvtary. I much prefer it now that the iron curtain is has been replaced by an electronic net.
