OK, that's what I thought you meant. I do the custom install too (and I do a LOT of them <g>). Never compared sizes of installations, but one could easily go to Add/Remove Programs and add in all the other stuff to see how much space it takes up. I just did an install on another machine of win95a -- 42MB (albeit with just a vid card and no CD ROM).

Nemer,

I will hang in on the win98
Just another chicken to pluck

I ran into some problems early on
I had it loaded up and functioning for a day....
My ISP has been aol (about to replace) I wanted to retain and
move a file containing aol bookmarks from a aol2.5 version to a 4.0
So I dragged and dropped the file as you would in win3.1

Win98 didn't like that move and would not allow me to use the AOL
log on sequence again....couldn't make it work. Called AOL and they had me
delete the file and are sending me a disc to relaod.

From now on I'm following all the new directions....carefully!
There seems to be less tolerance in win98
But I will catch on.

Hope you didn't use that Time Projection at 1:15 I passed along.....
It didn't last more then 5 points
Shouldn't have drop in like that...not without better preperation.

Chip
