MG, A strong opening can go two ways; open high, then dip with a strong come back, or open high and dip without a comeback. I've seen stocks open lower than yesterdays close and shoot up quite nicely after the open, I've seen them open higher and close lower. I believe that with all the media attention MCF is getting right now, we will see higher grounds today. However, I must not forget about the logistics (or rules) of trading. One of which is to get your money off the table as soon as reasonably possible. So the question that I'm asking myself today is: with all the media attention this stock is getting, and considering the people Microforum associates with, and the fact that they're trading at a fraction of the multiple that Razorfish is trading, is it a reasonable time to start taking profits?

My answer is split in two. 1. taking profits have nothing to do with the current affairs of the company but only with the amount of money that has accumulated as a result of my investment in them. And 2. profit taking should be taken in accordance to both my investment return and the current state of affairs of the company.

I would imagine that most would be considering these same things when making a decision to sell. No?
