Aside from being one of my favorite ticker symbols, OO is attempting to break out...through the 50DMA on strong volume for the first time in over a year. Momo is young, but some nice near term trends forming on the oscillators the last few months.

Must be some news a brewin'...

Increasingly, shades are becoming an integral part of designers' creative themes for any particular season and are often worn by models on the catwalk. One of the reasons: Sunglasses can cost little to make, but command high prices if they are seen as a fashion product.

$179.95 for Wayfarers, including $50 for the polarized lenses? That could be extremely profitable for Luxottica.

They must believe "there's a Ray-Ban customer born every minute."
