Nick, Andy G. retired. Craig Barrett is now CEO. COPY EXACT has been executed. Craig has charged his staff with qualifying a Second Source for each major process tool. Doing so will take time, especially at INTC. But the old rules are rapidly disappearing if not already extinct. I don't know the UK register, so I can't judge how reliable its past predictions may have been. As mentioned in a prior post, I do see a link between Brad's comments during the conference call and the story in that paper. In any case, whether this specific speculation turns out to be right or wrong, MTSN appears to have used this downturn quite wisely. It has effectively completed the development of its full range of products; placed evaluation tools in a number of new customers; and is now winning production orders across the full range of products. I fully expect MTSN to be a HUGE winner in the next equipment purchase cycle. I'm just getting impatient waiting for it to arrive. Ian.
