because the market doesn't get the picture that WLL is changing in and of itself - WLL will become nothing more than an adjunct of the mobile market, i.e., WLL in its current form will not even exist three years from now - it will all be termed "mobile" as the two technologies are converging. IDC was concentrating on the fixed - and they tell the market they'll now concentrate on the mobile - but the market that bought IDC's stock was still concentrating on the fixed - they failed to shift gears along with the "product market" to the mobile, so they're disappointed and disgusted.

However, IDC has significantly more opportunity in the mobile arena with their ASIC to sign more licensing agreements relative to the technology they do own.

I wouldn't be surprised to see management actually buying some shares for themselves about now.

The price rose before earnings release, which indicates information
leak. Besides, the company's earnings record is not good. One time
good earning will be followed by more negative ones.
