Wayne, the problem is, we don't know the details of their bids or anyone else's. All of this is conjecture and it is certainly possible that IBM knows more about services than EDS, Perot Systems, or Computer Sciences. Not the way I will bet, but possible. Nearly every other service co. has had these big one time writeoffs of what were originally recorded as profits.

Our first test will be if and when systems start failing at Y2K. If IBM services are really good, their stuff will work fine. If not, lawsuits will follow. Nobody has the liability IBM has to Y2K.
