Hi John!

You're Mormon? I just returned from a Mormon baptism! My little cousin just turned 8 and her Dad baptized her. It was really neat watching her in that font. I like a lot of the things that the Mormons have to say....especially the part about Jesus preaching in the New World after he left Jerusalem...you know...when he said "I have other sheep of which ye do not know."

I figure that it's more than just coincidence that EVERY SINGLE group of tribes that I have ever heard of...including the Hawaiians, all had the same legend about the "Great White God" who preached to them and healed their sick and who promised to return.

Here the missionaries spent all that time trying to convert the "savages" and here they probably already believed in Jesus anyway....just called him by a different name!

I was raised Unitarian and Methodist...and you talk about CONFUSION!! One week I learned Jesus was the Son of God,....the next week I learned that He was simply a great teacher. One week I learned that Mary was a Virgin....the next week I learned that she wasn't.
I liked the Unitarians the best as a kid because they had this real neat playground on the roof of the church and I loved playing on it.

I spent years trying to find the "one true religion" and finally decided that it depends upon which spiritual level one is on. They all show bits and pieces of the truth. I like the Mormons a lot though. I like Buddhism a lot too! Heck, I like them all!
