I agree, but for a couple of small items.

1) Who would buy MUEI? With Compaq's latest quarter and the outlook for the future being shaky at best I doubt if they could do it. Then there is Dell and Gateway; Gateway might be the best hope simply that it could open one it centers in the Boise area with nothing but a sign change, and that BEATIFUL paint jobs.
2) Lehi has too much into it already to sell at an attractive price; close 800 million I would think by now. It might be wiser for MU to donate it to the State of Utah's Education Department.

There are too many empty fabs right now to make it look attractive, unless it would be like an Intel? Fully loaded fab in Washington is going for 350 million, and in Colorado Springs there is the Rockwell facility, it is empty but a LOT larger than Lehi with room for at least 4 more fabs and it is going to < 30 million, not a typo < 30 MILLION.

But you never know what is around the corner.
