Split Question on AMZN

Seems that I recall reading a few posts back that someone got a proxy for voting in May on increasing the authorized shares from 300 mill to 1 billion +. Can anyone verify the accuracy of this? If it is true then I guess there could be no 2 for 1 announcement until after this vote as they already have 156 million diluted shares. Is my logic correct on this?
