Generation Entertainment's Millennium Division Announces European Promotional Tour Business Wire - April 29, 1999 14:51 CHICAGO--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--April 29, 1999--David Chackler, president of Millennium Music & Media Inc. (M3), a division of Generation Entertainment Inc. (OTC BB: GNEN), will be traveling throughout Europe for the next two weeks to consolidate international distribution for M3 and its Internet game soundtracks. "M3, as purveyor of Internet based material, is striving to become as worldwide as the Internet itself," Chackler said. "There is already great interest overseas for this product, and M3 expects great results from this trip. "As the first game, 'Nomads of Klanth,' is being released in July it is imperative that we have our distribution solidified in order to maximize our cross-promotional activities. The soundtrack releases will be coordinated so as to be simultaneous with the release of the games." Chackler will be traveling to the United Kingdom, Germany, The Netherlands and France, and will be meeting with most of the majors and major independents in each territory. He will be visiting with companies such as Universal, Sony, Edel, Road Runner, Eagle Rocks, and Play it Again Sam. He will also be contacting the various companies that will be distributing the games in Europe, such as British Telecom's, Wire Play in the UK, The Bertelsman Game Channel in Germany & KPN Telecom's World Access Online Service in The Netherlands. These talks will help ensure a coordinated European cross-marketing and promotional campaign. Chackler believes all distribution arrangements will be concluded by June 1, 1999. In recent weeks, Generation Entertainment has signed four "Elite 300" artists into its two record labels, opened its on-line record store at www.cdmusic.com, and announced that its Millennium division has acquired the worldwide rights to the soundtrack from the feature film, "Spooky House." Forward-looking statements in this release are made pursuant to the "Safe Harbor" provisions of the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995. Investors are cautioned that such forward-looking statements involve risks and uncertainties, including, without limitation, continued acceptance of the company's products, increased levels of competition for the company, new products and noted technological change, the company's dependence upon third-party suppliers, intellectual property rights and other risk detailed from time to time in the company's periodic reports filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
