for "more challenges" in a new CIO job, moving up to CEO
is obviously why he left.

gfr: No...we certainly can't fault him for the move. Now we will have to wait and see who replaces him...are we going to have fresh paint on the canvas equal to/or ??? to Thomas. If replacement comes from within the organization could indicate there is some validity to "rumors"...can not see someone from "outside" hopping on board if organization is "up for sale", only to be replaced by new team member of new owner(s). This is interesting...wonder who Benhamou has in
mind and how soon he will make the announcement as to Thomas replacement. I am sure that Corporate was aware of Thomas's plans prior to "rumors" and may well have asked him not to make any type of announcement during the rumor frenzy, and to wait until things cooled down. Just my viewpoint...
