Randy, Great observation. I no longer go to the site for anything.
It is old and outdated. It sends a message to users that it is a dead site and not a hot active progressive site (and company) that people are looking for. I wonder what their potential clients think when they hear all the business promises and then see a dead site.

Randy: Welcome to the thread. You're observations about the importance of Internet site changes are essentially correct - but with one major caveat. Those fundamental Internet rules are almost meaningless in the case of FNTN - at least for now.
Financial Intranet makes its income from Intranet services, almost exclusively. Although they are, or will, realize some modest income from the Internet site, the buzz about their Internet offerings has been blown way out of proportion since that is all an accidental viewer (or stockholder) sees. In short, the Internet site has always been a low priority. That is not to say it shouldn't be better or updated more frequently - it should. Certainly, as more potential corporate clients are driven in FNTN's direction, a slick and changing Internet site will have much more relevance. There is a strong probably of major Internet site changes timed to a multi-media ad campaign.
Additionally, Alan Spar has hinted at upcoming site changes and maintenance. Now that clients are already using the Internet site as their portal to the Intranet services, I suspect the wait for a slicker, more functional and evolving Internet site will be short.

Wally
