I guess I've been a little slow to vote- they've called me twice. I still don't know which way to go, as it's tough to figure how the lack of competition in my state (Virginia) will affect my phone bill. This is one of the states that voted against the merger as Bell Atlantic and GTE's services overlap. On a personal basis, I like the competition as it affects my phone bill. As a stockholder putting aside the previous comment, I'm not sure if this is the best thing for GTE. Any ideas? Jerry
