Are those your boot-clad feet i see showing from beneath the lowest branches of the spreading beech?-- (which seems now to be shaking in the wind, though forsooth I feel no breeze today.) And... what is this I see... to the side of each of your downward-facing boots? I can not make them out... what are those... those... two pinkish objects? Each an oval, or nearabouts, with five small ovals perched upon its top.... This is puzzling to me.
