Thanks for the reading suggestions and your interpretation of the current indicators. Looking at several indicators as you suggest is of course a good idea. I must say, my faith in TA in general is fairly weak, mostly because if you look at indicator charts almost all (of the indicators) are highly correlated with the stock price behavior, so they seem much more descriptive than predictive. That said, I'll immediately concede I don't understand them at a very sophisticated level and I'm sure they can be used to improve ones trading. The operative word here being "improve" and not "govern". My guess is that of the swarms of people pulling down IQC charts, most are fooling themselves that they are "chart reading" (present company excepted, of course!).
