I opened a DLJ account today, and noticed it that when I went to cancel an order on a very liquid NYSE issue, it took about 15 or 30 minutes for the screen to go from "cancelling" to "cancelled". Actually I put in an order and later changed the order. Because the original order was shown as canceling, while the changed order was open, it looks like I could have ended up with two fills. Is this normal?

Doug,

I haven't seen many many posts on this thread lately. I don't know about you but I haven't had any outages for at least two weeks now. Is it possible they fixed the problem? <gg> But it does slow down at times. But slow is better than down like at E-Trade.

Have you had any luck getting your 1099 straightened out?

Did you move to another broker yet? I haven't yet but I do need to set up another account for an IRA that I have to move.

Jim

Discover's quote system has now been down for 45 minutes. Real nice to be able to fly blind...
