Who is losing and who is winning if debt were erased.
Is the US$ so easy to come by that 350.billion could be wiped from the books without
any repercussions.

No it would change the whole budget surplus.

Some excellent questions there lorne. A tongue in cheek suggestion - since 350 billion is very close to the p/e of some internet stocks, maybe we could pay down that third world debt with some Amazon.com stock since Mr. Greenspam no longer thinks that the market is priced irrationally : - )
