We were planning the lan as well. Like a true blue CSCO guy, my husband is a propellor head too ! Just hasn't found time to manage the cabling etc as we're still in the process of furnishing the house (bought it in Dec) and weekends are spent shopping ! You could doubt my word - I am really quite ignorant about the stuff. Australia was mucho behind in technology. And I guess he talks so much about it that I have learnt to shut the technicalities out <grin>. Recipe for a good marriage. <<<I am not spoilt regarding the cost>>> We get it free ! So didn't want to be too extravagant ! (Not that it is very expensive. I heard a figure of $45 a month ! Gee, ISDN in Australia used to cost me $500 per month for about 3 hours a day !
