I bought from BKS and had no problem. Maybe you were charged tax because their HQ is in your state. I dunno. But I got some obscure books which were out-of-print delivered within 4-5 days. I was very appreciative. Never could have found them in any bookstore. And bookstores take weeks if you special order.

As for competition, that's good because otherwise they'd have an anti-trust case against then. Allows them to buy Ingrams. Their AOL exclusive deal should propel them to the top in time.

Time is on our side people so just hang in there. Forget about the stock for awhile if you're fully loaded. Our time will come soon.

Cong, in business 101 the first thing you learn is the number one reason companies go under is they under price their product or service.

I'm betting on BKS, they know the book biz and will maintain the margins to stay in business when others fail.

Yes, Buy.com is the lowest, however I have put my book order for a week, not yet receive anything yet. This is my first time buying from Buy.com, and I don't like it. I think B&N and Amazon still have better quality of service. The point is BKS has a lot of retail book stores and it is a real business.
