I've been buying RNWK for the last few days. I don't think many should desire to be short come Monday. For me, however, I hope many stay short! That way, the covering should make the stock go even higher :o)

I also have NTBK. They are a internet banking company which has about 27,000 customers and is picking up new accounts at about 3,000 per month. This stock could do really, really well- if the current advertising promotion continues to perform as well as it has been for the last 4 months. NTBK ~$ 165.00

Regarding Quicktime, I think the product is interesting. It can show more frames per second which gives a nicer picture. With QT, of course, you have to wait for the download to finish. Also, you have to have the software to interpret the file. RNWK has a quickly expanding base of software enabled computers in the US, etc. RNWK has about 50 million and growing fast.

With the advent of the high-speed modem, formats like Quicktime could gain in popularity, especially if RNWK continues to charge content providers for the downloads (maybe they won't always do that, but they will until they feel they need to change. RNWK is developing a broadcasting franchise which could give them much revenue via advertising income. That means that even if they one day don't charge for downloads, they could still do well.)

. . . just some of my thoughts.

I agree with you. All indications are RNWK will be acquired. IBM wants to jump first before others. Another acquisition target is CNET.
