Fab, how did he get hooked up with a Minneapolis firm? Well that explains some of the stuff coming out of that Kumar dude.

Since you are telling stories, I got one on Piper. His wife got kidnapped back in the 70's and the ransom was a million bucks or so to be delivered, pronto. Well it would take forever and a day to write down all the serial numbers for the 10 and 20 dollar used bills.

I was working part time for the bank the cash was coming from while going to school. Got this emergency call to go down to the main vault and photograph all the bills for the ransom with the machine used to photograph checks passing through the bank. Kind of a neat idea, and about the only thing the FBI did right. Wife found safe handcuffed to a tree in northern MN, kidnappers away scot free. I think the FBI ended up finding a couple bills years later, but that was it. Well, I guess the wife being OK was a success, too. -g-
