Oil or else the war. The gold thread just psted an article from ABC news that we are sending 10 more B-52s to Kosovo. As they stated, since there is a shortage of smart weapons, these will proably be of the carpet bombing variety. Precision is not required when you want to destroy their will to fight instead of thier capability. The Iraqis know what it is like to hear nothing but thunderous explosions 24 hours a day for weeks on end non-stop. You lose your will pretty quick. They can also be used to clear the mine fields the Serbs placed around the borders. Something about a rain of 750 pounders setting the mines off without need for metal detectors <ggg> Ina way, I wish I were going but I am currently assigned to a B-1B unit so all we do is break down at airshows. <ng> EDIT - I think I miscalculated, no bounce, TRIN just broke over 1 and the DOW is now selling off.
