If RNWK gets acquired by IBM you can kiss RNWK goodbye as an "internet stock" with all the trappings. It'll get tied down to big blue valuation and it will become a "real" company.

I don't think they'll be acquired -- just nonsense, but if they do, it won't be a long term positive for RNWK's price appreciation.

put the acquisition theory to bed. if it was probable, do you really think it would be rnwk hosting the monday 10am announcement of "significance". i think it would be the acquirer, not the acquiree.

rnwk has put together something else ranging from one to multiple allies with possible minority stakes in rnwk, and more unlikely, it has acquired something else.

whatever it is, you can bet it's positive for rnwk in their view.
