Doug, I'm using closing prices when positions are closed and opening prices when new positions are establised. Only rule change since we started...you can use the prior closing price after market hours when you wish to open a new position at the next opening. (I named this the Instock rule even though it's not exactly what he had in mind.)

Your IBM short was entered using Friday's opening price.

Well here comes the correction.

When it hits bottom I'll most likely just flip the IBM short over to a long position. Nothing fancy.
