The New Holland/Case merger rumors have moved from the chat boards to the major newspapers and thus merit the title of "Official Rumors" <g>. biz.yahoo.com Congrats to all those that bought Case. I bought NH and am not complaining but it looks like Case got the better jump. The best play, of course, was by Fiat: issue stock for 30% of NH and then when the stock tanks buy some of it back at a lower price. Excellent timing. If the thread is interested I'm curious as to how this merger might take place. Will it be stock or cash? Has NH management handled such an acquisition before?
