If I had the holy grail that would be great .. move over Warren Buffet. If Ihad the formula I would have held VRSN for an extra 3 point (3k) gain instead of just 3 1/2. (3 1/2 + 3= 6 1/2k). There is a difference in Nasdaq, NYSE and earnings plays stocks. Some are more volatile (what an understatement) than others. I had a weak stop on my NYSE stocks today but watched the internet options on a 1 minute chart with a trailing stop. I did mention that for the 'nets you have to give a little more leeway because of the relatively large moves. I'd still stick to 3-5%, 8% is too much.
