Ticker Thread Campers usually Lose Long Term you make a very good point. as an event trader I'm a nomad who wanders from thread to thread seeking the cool waters of opportunity to drink. I've wandered from DBCC, to NAVR, to TRAC and now here since the year began, and find this practice suits my portfolio best. Look at a guy like Chip Anderson, over at the TDFX thread. A great guy, with brilliant insights, yet I doubt he's made much money on TDFX since that dry well IPO'ed 3 summers ago. I just can't take those "trader" threads like you suggest; just too many distractions and self promoters there for me to sift thru on any given day. I'd rather just bookmark a few posters who's thinking I respect, and look in on their ideas every once in a while for inspiration. Max, thank's for keeping ASTN on the front burner at TJ's thread. Every little bit helps. Just don't be suprised if they turn on a dime Monday and start shorting with a vengence.
