Today's price action is not all that disconcerting. Qwest, in the minds of many, is an internet proxy, given the high bandwidth play it represents. When the internets get hammered, Qwest will be affected, though the decline today was muted compared to the pure net plays. I would not be surprised to see the group rebound tomorrow, as the investors who now embrace "value" and chase Alcoa and oil and paper stocks get faked out once more. Technology isn't "over"... and the emergence of Asia and Latin America from their long recessions will likely prove that case.
