Yeah, well, you should have heard the outcry here when they proposed a doe-only season, in selected areas. Around here, deer are often enough called rats with hooves by naturalists, they are plenty destructive of habitat, and their natural predators are long gone. They've been managed by the hunter-oriented "conservation" programs for way too high a population level in general. That's life.

Same here except when you get another mile out of town. Burbs feed them and bitch about plant damage and ticks. Farmers shoot and eat them.
