90 day restriction makes me only able to trade securities I held long at the open or with cash on hand at the open -- cant buy during the day sell and then use the proceeds to buy again -- it realy sucks -- i've missed alot of opportunities -- ready to switch to real day trade site -- This is a slap on the wrist I got, doesnt affect you ---

I don't know if anyone has answered this question, if so ... well then this will be redundant.

But, to day trade securities and avoid restriction you must have a margin account. If you do not have a margin account and you do not have a heck of a lot of cash in the account, you will go on restriction.
