Big article on CNET about the need for companies like AOL and others to acquire streaming technology after Yahoo bought BCST. EBLD is a very likely candidate I believe and could demand a huge takeout premium. Likely candidates may not be AOL itself, but Excite (rumors have already abounded about an alliance), or the Go network. Imagine ESPN.com forming an alliance with EBLD for sports streaming. Wouldn't that be cool. Could be anyone. Huge demand. Very few quality suppliers. The makings for the next TUNE, it seems to me. (FYI - SYCD will blow its top very soon; not too late yet so check it out).
