Wow, what a day for my work horse, FGI. IMO we saw some serious short covering today. I realize a portion of the FGI short position is probably hedging of long positions, BUT the high volume with the addtional 7% up move today suggests some short capitulation. Whatever logic there was to be short FGI in Mar. and Apri., the reasons are no longer there. FGI is probably the ONLY OSX company to grow at a 35% clip in the past year as if there were no oil price collapse.

CEO Hollay keeps preaching, "We are simply following ou business plan, we don't worry about the stock price." I still see a P/E of 20 by the end of the year, barring complete OPEC collapse and FGI failing to land any new contracts. Let's see, FGI earns $1.60 with their hands tied behind their back in '99, so 32 is my target price for year end.

My biggest gainer so far is WFT. I let a broker talk me into buying some earlier this year, and it has nearly double since I bought it. Earnings today stunk, and yet it was up another $2 again today, go figure. Just goes to show you that the Wall Street darlings are always the early Mo Mo boys. I will look to take some profit in WFT soon and roll it into to a lagger.

Oh well, I don't have time to post much, but I do enjoy checking up on the thread in the evenings when I have time. I also enjoy days like the last couple in the market. Good luck to all!

GO FGI!

Mark

Mikey:

If you're back to pie, that means the OSX is headed to new highs.

Ah, the ultimate indicator for the good ole days.<g>

>>>I'm gonna go buy a pie.<<<

Where have I heard those lovely words before? Why I believe right here on this very same cyberspace! 1997 as a matter of fact and the drillers could do no wrong.....until October, anyway!

PERRO GRANDE

What is your favorite pie flavor?

My mother bakes a superb lemon meringue. I suppose you can guess what my preference is.
