I am using LEAP puts, mostly January of 2001, to give me nearly 20 months for a decline in AMZN, YHOO, SCH, AOL, INTC, DELL, and a few others. Have one small put position in EBAY that I can stand to see go down the drain. Of course, if the mania increases and persists for more than a year, then I am in a certain amount of trouble and will get nothing but large tax deductions. But with AMZN down another 25 today, I am somewhat more comfortable than I was two days ago.
