Mr. F.R. Ilott reports
A significant step has been taken toward ending the instability in the Congo which has prevented the company from continuing exploration on its four gold, diamond and tantalite concessions.
On April 18, 1999, an agreement was signed between President Museveni of Uganda, President Deby of Chad, President Afwerki of Eritrea and President Kabila of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Starpoint's property is west of American Barrick's property, which has been joint ventured to Anglo American of South Africa.
The company is preparing to return to the Congo and will continue to provide updates as progress is made toward development of its properties.
