I wish to make the following points: -this UTI deal is subject to the courts approval -if the court does not approve it then it's dead in the water and back to square one -nobody will be sued if the Justice rules against it -the banks are looking to minimize their loses, they may feel better having Balm running things -a $20 mil capital injection would make them feel much more comfortable -some people are talking like the banks are in a conspiracy,I am sure this is not the case, they are just trying to minimize their losses as any of us would do in that case(near sighted I agree,but who knows for sure what the future holds) -their just being CANADIAN BANKS read;ultra conservative -the hearing is at 1pm on Friday,April 30/99 -I am told that the Justice hearing this case is not in favour of the deal with UTI and may be looking for an alternative anyway, because it does everything for the banks and nothing for the shareholders or unsecured creditors -Balm's lawyer has lined up a Mr. Alan Shewchuk to represent other shareholders tomorrow SHAREHOLDERS If you have not done so already PLEASE DO NOW!!
