Trim Tabs shows a pile of money coming into the market:

trimtabs.com

and AMG somewhat less:

amgdata.com

The Fed shows continued reduction in monetary aggregates--really about the same as last week. But far lower than a few months ago.

bog.frb.fed.us

Appears that people are finding money to place mostly into large-cap mutual funds. A very uneducated guess would be that these may be inexperienced first-time investors who are cautious enough to avoif the Internets and Tech stocks, but do not realize the general overvaluatiuon.

Face it, you're good! YOu can be forgiven for that.

I've got a buddy, who used to sit in a cubicle next to me (not any more since I left) -- he is smiling about EWM because he was so smart to load up below 2. He's a great investor. <g>

He's up big on the oils stocks, too. Last few times I talked to him -- he seems to have amnesia when I remind him that I suggested he take a look at them. <GGGG>

Mike,

What's your opinion of GEMS here? I bought some today at 5.125. Have you been scale down buying or is your plate full? I know it has been a painful ride down, but I think things are finally turning around.
