Jach,

How can you use pure market cap as a basis to compare companies?

Are you telling us to sell Microsoft just because its market cap is higher than so and so?

Your analysis sounds very very simplistic. To follow it would mean to buy penny stocks because their market caps are low. I am sure this is not what you meant to say??

jach: The rationale is..."if you believe in the internet, then you should own cisco". I am not saying I agree with it...just is what many are saying. Consequently, as goes the internuts...so goes cisco. The day will come when investors will realize how overvalued these stocks are. If the mkt is telling us to ignor the fundamentals and forget about value...then there is no need to spend any time in business school or higher! We'll just "roll the dice" and hope like hell that we have the winning number!
