?? they don't get no respect California regulation is avante garde. I guess they like to be the first whether they suceed or fail. They sure screwed up with PURPA and some of the other utility reforms. I didn't place a big bet, but it was a cheap bet. I'm in this industry for better or worse -- probably better, since our state is a low cost state in general, but it may be worse for consumers here. A lot of this de-regulation (really re-regulation) is just complicating things financially, IMO and not going to result in any improvements -- wholesale markets already appear to be pretty efficient to me, BWDIK.
