Then why last Thursday evening did I go back to the Stenkovic refugee camp and get all the names and ages of the individuals in one of the tents Anthony and I had previously visited? That was a memorable evening because some NATO aircraft flew overhead and dropped bombs within 15 miles of the camp. In this giant camp there was a lull of silence after the bombs exploded. That was my second exhausting trip of the day to the Stenkovic camp. The reason I went back to the camp was that Anthony was busy meeting with a reporter from NBC and he asked me to do it. One of my objectives of this trip was to push the story of the orphans. That is why I was amazed that Anthony blew off the media opportunities I had set up for him this week in New York; we had agreed on these before we left. Is that how you treat a friend? How come I was not invited to the airport to see the result of my political efforts? I was in New York. When I left Macedonia, Ana thanked me many times for what I had brought to this project. Avdulla witnessed that conversation; call him up and ask him about it. If I was Ana now though, and Anthony made her choose sides, it is obvious that she could only go with a fellow Moslem and a man who has the following to fund future projects for Albanians.

Tony had an obsession with his video camera and spent countless hours a day taking pictures. I took a lousy 50 still pictures (less than 6 a day). While Tony was busy taking video pictures, I was working on identifying the true orphans in the camp. I made numerous introductions of foreign humanitarian workers, and picked their brains for information. Many times Anthony was right there with me. Many times he was not. Given the size of the camp, Anthony also picked the brains of foreign humanitarian workers while I was off talking to someone else.

Floyd, there was nothing to smile about over there. Get off your ass and go over there and you will see. I am continuing my efforts to help. What in the hell are you doing?
