Surprised!!! That the Economist Magazine has been SO wrong on the direction of the price of oil.

As a Floridian, I am glad to see that Florida is not the only state with problems in balancing environmental concerns with property rights. It is hard to see any justification for the delay tactics used by the state to deny a permit to CCO. I am also troubled that the state of Florida is preventing development of what could be a vital resource for our country. The recent sharp upturn in gasoline prices illustrates just how much power OPEC can wield when they stick together. I, for one, would feel a lot better if we had a large quantity of oil available close to home, to decrease our dependence on OPEC.
