Tony: That may be the closest to objectivity that I have seen on this thread. There is only one statement that I would take issue with: And, will businesses, who may be the major customers for PCs built around it, sign up for it, knowing AMD's history of second rate manufacturing, which has fallen down at critical junctures on all of their microprocessor products to date. For about a year now, the trend in business is that more and more are willing to accept AMD-equipped boxes in bids. The number (at least according to the surveys that I follow) is still in the minority, but it is steadily growing.
