Yahoo has offered free auctions and hasn't been able to touch ebay
and Yahoo has similar reach to AOL. I am not discounting Amazon's
threat. But Amazon's CFO did say yesterday that their auctions was
going to be in investment mode for some time. (translation : they
expet to lose money on their auctions) I think Ebay owns the auction space for now. Why do you think Ebay was the first big cap internet to
close at a new high ?

i just mwanted to throw a thought out,,
pleases let me know if this is possible,
with the possibility of aol getting into auction business imo the best accuisition for them would be tmcs this imo is the most undervalued net stock,,it is a company that is making money and has a auction site,,if the lcos deal falls through as it appears it has tmcs is a huge buyout candidate,,i will be buying tommorw as i see a huge selloff going into the weekend as investors will be scared holding because of concerns over what happened monday!!bt the way if any one is in amzn i suggest getting out as fast as possible ,,because market sentiment has just drastically changed on this stock and investors are looking for value and not companies that are losing money and don't predict when they will start making money and keep spending it,,amzn is a sinking ship and i suggest getting out before it hits bottom,,this is the one people will really not want to be holding over the weekend
