It is time for AMZN to redeem itself and dethrone ebay as the #1 online auction site. People used to believe that AMZN will be #1 in whatever it decides to do, whether it is online book selling or CD. If AMZN wants people to continue to believe that, it has to focus on its online auction and strive to become #1. It will also be more profitable for AMZN. If AMZN can do that in a year, its stock will take off for sure. eBAy has a market cap of 27 BILLION with auction alone, if AMZN can become the #1 online auction, it probably can have a market cap of 80 BILLION because it also has books, CDs, etc.
