Funny you say that, Jay..... After doing my "98 taxes and seeing that I daytraded AOL, CMGI and NSCP for what seems like pennies last year, I've decided to go long term. This is what I bought earlier this week, with an eye toward the next-generation I-net: QCOM ATHM AOL DCLK CMIC MSPG ELNK UNPH CSCO FRO (as an "in" to GLBX) GNET Also CPQ and MXTR as "end of year" plays. Great stocks,a well-researched basket, and I'm down 3% already. Just my luck to buy at the beginning of a tech/internet dump. If anyone's interested, I'll follow up in a month with percentage gains and losses.

I suggest that anyone who wants to play cut, paste, and add their name to their suggestion. The goal would be to compile a list of leaders, so please don't add your favorite secondary or tertiary stock. The premise is that trendlining the leaders will pay off better than chasing the secondaries. In the long run, I think tech is where it's at. The purpose of charting leaders in other catagories is to know where to go if the tech leaders are trending down.
