Hi. New to this thread. KYOM as the next AOL as in C-AOL? Interesting. I'd like to buy into this stock but I have a few questions I'd like to air for those of you who are more in the know.

It would seem that the success of this stock is based entirely upon the number of home PCs, right? Anybody know how many PCs per capita there are in Sichuan? More to the point, does anybody know the yearly income of the average Sichuan guy/gal? Not much, I bet.

IMO KYOM will only fly in an economy in which consumers first buy PCs. No PCs. No KYOM. And what about China's freedom of expression laws? The lottery thing is a completely separate issue.

Comments?

ALL: I have put in a request to Jill for advice on not only changing the symbol, but making sure that those who search by KYOM are linked to CAOL.

If she doesn't have a good recommendation, there is no reason why I or someone else can't just put in a FINAL POSTING on the KYOM thread that says:

NOTE: Please stop posting here and come join us over at CAOL.

WE HAVE ALL MOVED OVER TO CAOL, which is the news symbol for KYOM since the name has changed to Cathay Online.
